Aslinur Inalci Akpinar is a PhD candidate in the Department of Political Science at LUISS University. She holds a master’s degree in International Politics from KU Leuven. She has volunteer and professional experience in civil society and is specifically interested in analyzing the EU’s support to democracy in candidate countries. The preliminary title of her PhD dissertation is “Analysis of the Influence of EU Accession on Civil Society Organizations’ Ability to Fight Corruption in the Western Balkans”.
