Adam Courtley is a Ph.D. Candidate in Politics at LUISS University. He is specifically interested in the role of rhetorical strategies used by mainstream political actors in Britain and their potential alignment with ‘populist communication’. He aims to use a mixed-method approach to map the endurance of such techniques through twitter engagement over a concentrated duration of time. The provisional title of thesis is “Measuring the endurance of Populist Political Communication within mainstream political actors of the UK.”
