Nicolás Sebastián Soto Troncoso
Nicolás is a Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of Political Science at LUISS University. He holds a master’s degree in public policy obtained in 2022 at the Hertie School of Governance in Berlin and a master’s degree in criminal law obtained in 2012 at the Universidad Diego Portales (UDP) in Santiago de Chile. He has previously worked as lawyer specialized in criminal law, human rights and judicial systems. His research interest lies in the assessment of anti-corruption policies, with a particular emphasis on transparency measures. His thesis working title is “Assessing the determinants of public transparency and its impact on corruption at the sub-national level”.
