Maximilian Kunte is a PhD candidate in the Department of Political Science at LUISS Guido Carli. His research interests lie at the intersection of religion, migration, and politics, with a focus on the Russian Orthodox Church’s influence outside of Russia. By examining the Russian and Ukrainian Orthodox diaspora in Germany, Maximilian’s research project explores the impact of the Russo-Ukrainian war on the Russian Orthodox Church.
