Lorenzo Santini is a PhD Candidate in Politics at Luiss Guido Carli. His research interests lie in feminist institutional analysis applied to the EU, parliaments, and diplomacy.

He is conducting research on how discourses on gender intersect with race and LGBTI+ identities to shape the parliamentary diplomacy of the European Parliament from a feminist institutionalist perspective. The provisional title of his thesis is “Gendering European Parliament’s Diplomacy: Rules, Discourses and Practices in Global Context”.
