Rebecca Maria Perla Iotti is a Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of Political Science at Luiss Guido Carli. She is particularly interested in the interaction between markets and politics in Southeast Asia. Her research is focused on the factors underlying success in Chinese economic coercion, and viable countermeasures for target states. The working title of her thesis is “Countering Chinese Economic Coercion: analyzing the Factors underlying its Success, and Countermeasure Strategies for EU/EEA Target States, 2001-2021”.
