PhD tutor – Gianmarco De Santis

Gianmarco De Santis is a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the Department of Economics and Finance at Luiss University. He earned his PhD in Economics from Sapienza University of Rome in 2025. He was visiting researcher at the Max Planck Institute of Economics and at the University of Chicago.His research primarily focuses on
behavioural and experimental economics, with a particular interest in applied microeconometrics. He has conducted and published empirical and experimental studies on individual decision-making under risk and ambiguity, intertemporal preferences, and sustainable investing. He is also involved in research exploring the psychological and informational determinants of economic behaviour.
