Clara Helen Laetitia Labus

Clara Labus is a third-year PhD candidate in Law and Business at LUISS, specializing in European Union law. She works on a research project on climate litigation before the Court of Justice of the European Union under the supervision of Prof. Daniele Gallo and Prof. Robert Schütze. She was a visiting researcher at the Amsterdam Centre for European Law and Governance (Universiteit van Amsterdam) in spring 2025 with Prof. Christina Eckes. In 2024, she finished her LL.M. in European Law and Policies (MELP) at LUISS with distinction. She wrote her LL.M. thesis on the direct effect of EU international agreements, supervised by Prof. Daniele Gallo. In 2022, she completed her law degree (Erste Prüfung) with distinction at Goethe-Universität in Frankfurt/Germany, where she specialized in Europeanization and Internationalization of Law.
