Roberto Urbani

Roberto Urbani is a Ph.D. student in Management and a Teaching Assistant for bachelor’s and M.Sc. courses in Organizing Innovation, Management of Technology and Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Technology at Luiss Guido Carli University. He is also an honorary fellow for the Department of Industrial Engineering, Information and Economics at the University of L’Aquila.

He is also a certified public accountant and public administrator. His research focuses on open innovation dynamics and knowledge transfer and management.

Interests: Open Innovation, relational economics, formal network methodologies.

Subjects of specialization: Open Innovation, internal capabilities, and firm performance. Social Network Analysis. Knowledge creation and transfer in R&D collaboration networks. Regional studies applying a complex adaptive systems approach to regional economics.
