Annual PhD Conference

Luiss Guido Carli will host the first edition of the Rome PhD in Economics and Finance Conference on September 9, 2022 at the Luiss campus in Viale Romania. The conference is aimed at providing PhD students at Luiss University, at Tor Vergata University , and from the Rome Economics Doctorate (RED), the opportunity to present their ongoing research.

The conference program will consist of a keynote lecture, plus two sessions: one for junior PhD students (1^st and 2^nd year) and one for senior PhD students (3^rd year or more). The junior PhD students will get 20 minutes to present whereas the senior PhD students will get 30 minutes to present along with a discussion by a senior researcher.

At the end of the conference a welcome event for the incoming cohort to the PhD programs has been planned.

Chairs

The Local Organizing Chairs are Pietro Reichlin (Luiss Guido Carli and EIEF) and Paolo Santucci de Magistris (Luiss Guido Carli). The Program Committee includes the Local Organizing Chairs plus Stefano Gagliarducci (Tor Vergata University of Rome and EIEF), and Tommaso Proietti (Tor Vergata University of Rome).
